Impress Care Kinship Program for Adults
Many long-term care adults prefer to be cared for at home or in other settings less acute than a nursing facility. This option to receive care in a home and community-based setting is enabled through Choices for Independence – a 1915 C Medicaid Waiver that allows a person who meets the Medicaid criteria for nursing facility services the opportunity to choose more appropriate, less costly services with home and community-based care.
The result being this Medicaid eligible population is served more appropriately.
